Artist of the month DSReligion's own TRE MISSION
Canadian based Grime mc Tre Mission is part of DSReligion bringing a Canadian twist to the uk grime scene and it must be said doing it better than a lot of the UK's mc's. Tre Has Appeared on SBtv, S-Star tv and MTV. Tre has recently made a track with UK producer Deeco who has produced for artists such as wiley and jme. Tre is releasing banger after banger he is a future star to watch out for.

Pharcyde Labincalifornia Download
The Pharcyde (pronounced /ˈfɑrsaɪd/) is an alternative hip hop group from South Central Los Angeles, where the group's members grew up. The original four members of the group are Imani (Emandu Wilcox),Slimkid3 (Trevant Hardson), Bootie Brown (Romye Robinson) and Fatlip (Derrick Stewart). DJ Mark Luv was the group's first DJ, followed by producer J-Swift and then J Dilla[citation needed]. The group is best known for the hit singles "Drop", "Passin' Me By" and "Runnin'", as well as their first album, Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde.

A Tribe called Quest Midnight Marauders Download
The album Midnight Marauders was a critical and commercial success, especially the hit single "Award Tour".
The listener is guided through the program by a robotic voiced woman played by Laurel Dann. As this voice tells the listener at the end of "Award Tour", the meaning of the album's title derives from a figure that "seven times out of ten, we listen to our music at night", hence the "Midnight", and that the word maraud means to loot, and A Tribe Called Quest are "maraud[ing] for ears".
It is one of three A Tribe Called Quest albums on The Source's 100 Best Rap Albums. It is also one of three A Tribe Called Quest albums to be certified platinum by the RIAA.

3 Feet High and Rising is the influential debut album from American hip hop trio De La Soul, released in 1989.
The album marked the first of three full-length collaborations with producer Prince Paul, which would become the critical and commercial peak of both parties. Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) is the debut album of American hip hop group Wu-Tang Clan, released November 9, 1993 on Loud Records and distributed through RCA Records. Recording sessions for the album took place during 1992 to 1993 at Firehouse Studio in New York City, and it was mastered at The Hit Factory. The album's title originates from the martial arts film The 36th Chamber of Shaolin (1978). The group's de factoleader RZA, also known as Prince Rakeem, produced the album entirely with heavy, eerie beats and a sound largely based on martial-arts movie clips and soul music samples.

Jurrasic 5 EP Download
Jurassic 5 EP was the first official release by alternative hip hop group Jurassic 5. It was an EP that included much of the material that would later appear on the Jurassic 5 LP.
The first version to be released contained nine tracks and was available in CD single or double-12" singleformats. It was released in October 1997 on the band's own short-lived label, Rumble/Pickininny Records.
Although the label only released that one record, it did give the band a platform and allowed them to be heard.

The band signed to a major label, Interscope Records in 1999. Their first release on Interscope was the re-issue of the Jurassic 5 EP in an 8 track version in 1999. This had the same listing as the original EP, excluding the final track "Blacktop Beat".

Common Ressurection Download
Resurrection is the second album by American rapper Common (then known as Common Sense). Released in 1994 (see 1994 in music), the album received a great deal of critical acclaim, but not a significant amount of mainstream attention. Resurrection was entirely produced by No I.D. (who also produced the bulk of Can I Borrow A Dollar?), and Ynot. The record was originally rated 3.5 mics in The Source in 1994. In 1998, the album was selected as one of The Source's 100 Best Rap Albums .

Illmatic is the debut album of American rapper Nas, released April 19, 1994 on Columbia Records. Following his signing to Columbia with the help of MC Serch, recording sessions for the album took place during 1992 to 1993 at Chung King Studios, D&D Recording, Battery Studios, and Unique Recording Studios in New York City. Its production was handled by Nas, Large Professor, Pete Rock, Q-Tip, L.E.S., and DJ Premier. Stylistically ahardcore hip hop album, Illmatic features Nas's multi-syllabic internal rhyme patterns expressing inner city lyrical themes and narratives based on his native Queensbridge, New York.

The roots Things fall apart download
The Roots is an American hip hop band formed in 1987 by Tariq "Black Thought" Trotter and Ahmir "?uestlove" Thompson in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They are famed for beginning with a jazzy, eclectic approach to hip hop which still includes live instrumentals.[1] Malik B., Leonard "Hub" Hubbard, and Josh Abrams were added to the band, originally called The Square Roots.

J Dilla The shining
James Dewitt Yancey (February 7, 1974 – February 10, 2006), better known by the stage names J Dilla andJay Dee, was an American record producer who emerged from the mid-1990s underground hip hop scene inDetroit, Michigan. According to his obituary at NPR.org, he "was one of the music industry's most influential hip-hop artists, working for big-name acts like De La Soul, Busta Rhymes and Common."
Yancey's career began slowly. He has now become highly regarded, most notably for the production of critically acclaimed albums by Common, Busta Rhymes, A Tribe Called Quest, The Pharcyde, and Erykah Badu. He was a member of Slum Village and produced their acclaimed debut album Fan-Tas-Tic (Vol. 1) and their follow-upFantastic, Vol. 2.

The album's fruition came about from the chemistry between the two emcees. Both planned to release their solo albums around the same time, but they postponed their individual projects and decided instead to collaborate on a full-length LP.
The late jazz musician Weldon Irvine played the keys on the album's opening song, "Astronomy," which interprets the word "black" in a positive way, and contains similes such as "Black, like my baby girl's stare".
